Well. I’m more than just an artist and businesswoman. I’m infatuated with the beauty of originality. Being always me. Hence my dream to take the beauty world where it’s never been.
I come from a family of freedom fighters. People who have carved their mark on history, in the cause of independence.
This being instilled in me, my brand of beauty can’t be a comfortable cliché. Instead, it smashes conformity. It beckons you to embrace your true self. To be you. To me, that’s beautiful.
I yearned for a scent that I couldn’t find anywhere. There had to be one. So I started layering ancient Sudanese perfume formulas, with international fragrances. It swooned those who crossed my fragrant path.
The perfumer in me was out. After learning olfactive design in Grasse, then forever practicing in a Parisian perfumer’s lab, Tayshaba was born.
The essences of my art are lives, influences, ancestral secrets. Woven together, they’re not just scents, but personal statements. Convention breakers. Ones that probably no-one has had the gaul to make.

Our roots are our ancient cultures, traditions, heroes, leaders. Our upbringing is our battles for independence, struggles to be heard. Wills to fight to the end. To be seen, loved, looked up to. Not hidden, classified, boxed, labelled. And our wish, to be beautiful in our own way. No-one else’s. No, thanks.
Like the things we make. They fortify, distinguish, ignite our inner rebel. Say we know ourselves better than anyone. We’re us, not them. Remember.
